Wilma Irene Kenitz

Wilma Irene Kenitz, of Red Wing, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Good Samaritan Care Center in Albert Lea.

She was born March 30, 1939 in Red Wing to George and Hilda (Germolus) Wiebusch. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1958. On September 4, 1964, she married Ervin Kenitz. She delivered the newspaper for many years and also provided babysitting help through the YMCA. She was always a people person and acted as grandma to many little ones.

She is survived by daughters, Luann (Gene) Diercks of Red Wing and Lynda (Eric Smith) Kenitz of Goodhue; grandchildren, Ashley, Alex (Tate) and Kelsey (Don); great-grandchildren, Nadia and Lilli; sisters-in-law, Elaine Giar and Lois Nelson; and brother-in-law, Wayne Kenitz.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin; brothers, Glen, Robert Sr., Harry, and LeRoy Wiebusch; and sister, Rose Brekke.
