William E. Roach

William Edward Roach, 29, of Hastings, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Regina Hospital in Hastings surrounded by his family. He was born August 12, 1985 to Charles and Sally Roach in Fridley. He grew up and attended school in Hastings. An entrepreneur, in 2013, Bill opened Gamerheadz in Southdale Mall. He was a Timberwolves and Minnesota Twins fan and he also enjoyed collecting baseball hats and shoes. He loved music, video games and go cart racing. He was a cat person who also enjoyed keeping an aquarium. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Sally Roach of Hastings; father, Charles (Ezriel) Roach, Jr. of Woodbury; two sisters, Amy Roach of Hastings and Kathryn (Lars) Erickson, also of Hastings; his best friend, Aaron Swensen of Hastings; four uncles, Mark Bebault of Baxter, Jaycee (Toni) Lively of Arizona, Christopher Roach of Minnesota and Bryan James (Molly Rhoades) Roach of Cannon Falls; four aunts, Genevive Morris of Florida, Virginia (Fred) Shea of Lindon, Wash., Peggy (Gary) Moffit of Justin, Texas; Charlene Roach of Hastings; four cousins; Trevor Bradley of Hastings, Jessica Roach of Kenner, Thor Bradley, Jr. of Hastings and Trevor Bradley, Jr. of Hastings; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Bill is preceded in death by grandparents, Norman and Shirley Lively, Charles Roach, Sr.; cousin, Thor Bradley and friend, Matt Deason.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Prairie Island Community Center. Burial will be at the Church of the Messiah Cemetery. Visitation begins 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 and continues until the time of the service. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhomecom.
