William "Willie" James Levers, 43, of Red Wing died December 11, 2013 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. He was born September 5, 1970 in Waverly, Iowa to Garrett Levers and Cherry Burchard. He grew up in western Wisconsin and attended schools throughout the area. He worked a variety of jobs including Ashley Furniture in Arcadia and at a baseball bat factory in Caledonia. He enjoyed traveling and lived many different places throughout his life including, Tennessee, Arkansas and Winona, Minn. He loved the outdoors, riding horses and motor bikes. He was creative and enjoyed building things, as well as playing guitar and writing his own songs.
He is survived by his children, Vincent Paul Levers of Dodge, Wisc. and Raven Storm Erickson of LaCrosse, Wisc; one granddaughter, Ayanna Levers; father, Garrett Levers of Parsons, Tenn.; sister, Jamie Janick of Red Wing; brother, Joe (Lael) Levers of Bay City; stepsister Jolene (Rodney) Rhodes of Parsons, Tenn., as well as many other relatives. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cherry and grandfather, Carl Levers.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Pastor Brian Scott officiating.
