William Keith Harding

September 14, 1943 — December 3, 2009

William Harding, 66, Diamond Bluff, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was born September 14, 1943 in Red Wing, the son of Arnold and Blanche Harding. The family moved to Diamond Bluff when he was 3 years old and he attended grade school there and was a 1962 graduate of Prescott High School. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, serving proudly in Vietnam from 1965-1967. He returned to Diamond Bluff and worked for Thomas & Betts, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Leo C. Peterson American Legion #54. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, riding his Gator, was an avid Packer fan and loved playing with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Diamond Bluff; three children: William J. (Tiffani) Harding of Red Wing, Kristina Harding of Red Wing and David Harding of Diamond Bluff; four grandchildren: Zachariah, Isabella, Ryan and Brooke; siblings: Dennis (Karen) Harding of Red Wing, Alan (Pat) Harding of Hager City and Diane (Lynn) Harding of Woodbury. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Randall Johnson officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Diamond Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p. m. Monday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
