William Lee Dunn

A memorial service for William Dunn will be held on Saturday February 7th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Homes, Rochester Chapel. Ennichement of Mr. Dunn's cremated remains will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery's columbarium in Minneapolis. Mr. Dunn, 70, of Rochester, died Sunday December 28, 2014 in Red Wing.
William Lee Dunn was born May 6, 1944 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Wilbur and Betty (nee Boyd) Dunn. A graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, he also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. As a nuclear physicist, he worked in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Mayo Clinic. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Rochester. He enjoyed sailing, boating, fishing, and genealogy.
He is survived by his sons, Colin Dunn of Minneapolis, and Adam (Rachel Bondock) Dunn of Oakland, California; brothers, Kenneth and Terrence Dunn; sister, Janet McCain; many loving cousins; and his former wife, Donna Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jack Dunn.
