Wayne Arlo Hove was born December 5, 1944 in Siren, Wisconsin to Julius and Esther (Hammond) Hove. They soon moved to National City, California where he graduated from Sweetwater Union High School in 1962 and then married Martha (Griswold); they had one daughter, later to divorce. During this time Wayne joined the Air Force (1965-1968). Wayne met Katherine (Carlson) and they married and had two boys. Wayne worked for San Diego Gas and electric until they moved to Frontenac, Minnesota to raise their boys and be by their families. After they divorced, he moved to Hager City, Wisconsin. He worked for Kmart and Pet stop but was a man of many trades. He enjoyed riding his Harleys, playing pool, working in his garage and hanging with his friends and family while always the bullshitter living life his way.
Wayne is survived by his children, Leighanne (Hove) Shequen & Wendy Pearson of Eagan, Minnesota, Brian Hove & Ashley Winch of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, Chad & Roxi (Rusch) Hove of Hollister, Missouri; Seven grandchildren, Jessica Shequen (Tony Jackson), Michael Shequen, Jordan Schlichting, Joseph Hove, Crystal (Hove) Backus and Tyler, Austin Hove, Skylar Hove and Gabe Winch (Ashley's Son); Four Great Grandchildren; Ridleigh, Finley, Dixie and Reid. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Jordan, Lyndon and Ronald. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 11-3 p.m. at Wayne's house (W8328 State Highway 35, Hager City, WI 54014).
