Walter "Swede" William Pierce, Jr. passed away in his home with his family by his side on February 20, 2015 after a lengthy courageous battle with Heart Disease.

In 2002 Walt and Judy sold the farm and moved to Cannon Falls. Walt loved to go to Auctions and Garage Sales and to go grocery shopping. He especially cherished each and every moment that he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
