Vincent Joseph Matz

Vincent "Vince" Joseph Matz, age 78 of Lake City, died on October 12, 2012 at his residence. Vincent was born on February 20, 1934 in Waseca to Merlin and Emily (McShane) Matz. He joined the United States Marine Corps on December 3, 1951. Vince worked as an electrician for Premier Electrical in Rochester for 39 years. He enjoyed scuba diving. Vince was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the Lake City American Legion Post # 110, and St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church.

Vincent is survived by his son, Douglas Matz of Laurel Bloomery, TN.

Vincent is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ann Matz; and two brothers, Merlin and John Matz.

No funeral services are planned at this time.
