Vincent “Vince” William Books, 70, of St Paul died peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Regions Hospital. Vince was born on April 16, 1954 to Vincent Passe and Delores (Sexton) Books and was later adopted by Walter Books. He graduated from Ellsworth High School and later served in the US Army. Throughout Vince’s life he worked at various places and enjoyed fixing his cars.
He is survived by his brothers, Roger (Lori) Books, David (Bonnie) Books, Bob Books, Mike (Terri) Books, and Mark (Joanie Churchill); sister Monica (Dennis) Beasley; sister-in-law June Books; and many nieces and nephews. Vince was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Kenneth. Vince will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in West Albany. Arrangements by the Mahn Family Funeral Home Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
