Vickie L. Bergene

Vickie Lynn Bergene, 51, of Rochester, died Sunday August 19, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born October 9, 1955 in Wadena, Minn to Vern and Fran (Volkers) Cordes. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1974 then graduated from the nursing program at the Red Wing Technical College. She lived in various places, but has resided in Rochester for the past 15 years. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, sewing and singing.
Survivors are her parents of Red Wing; daughter, Kari (Aaron) Wing of Duluth; three sisters, Pam (Scott) Bender of Red Wing, Lori (Al) Hoyer of Bay City, Diane (Keith) Holst of Red Wing; nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles.
Proceeded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral Service will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn chapel with Reverend Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be at Burnside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Chris and Kory Holst, Alex, Seth and Tyrell Hoyer, and Logan Bender. Honorary Pallbearers are Justin Gustafson, Tony and Joy White, Staci Hoyer, Jessica Lillie and Mary Bender. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
