Twila Copple

Twila Copple, born on July 12, 1924, in Pender, Nebraska, passed away on December 5, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

A life rich in love, strength, and resilience, Twila married her beloved husband, Duane, in 1942. Together, they built a life of joy and shared memories before moving to Minnesota in 1958.

Twila was raised by her widowed mother, experiencing the challenges of the Great Depression, the sacrifices of World War II, and the incredible transformations of modern times. She was one of nine siblings, growing up alongside six brothers and two sisters in a close-knit family.

Twila is survived by her children: Thalia, Clayton (Mary), Kevin (Jeanne), Kristi (Gary) Schoenmann; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, guide, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her son, Brian; and her grandson, Riley.

Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love leave a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. A private family gathering will honor her life and memory on Thursday 12/12/24.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with the service from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel.
