Trevor Matthew Bolland

Trevor Matthew Bolland, 38, of Red Wing, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at his home. He was born June 1, 1978, in Red Wing, to Fred and Marilyn (Josephson) Bolland and graduated from Red Wing High School in 1996. He attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering before enlisting in the US Air Force. He lived in and had visited several parts of the world during his service time and was honorably discharged in 2006. While in the service he received a master's degree in IT and continued his education at the William Mitchell College of Law, graduating with a law degree in 2011. Trevor had been employed with Homeland Security in Bloomington, Kroll in Eden Prairie and most recently at Thomson Reuters in Eagan. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and computer games and most of all, he loved his family and spending time with his three children. He will be remembered as a devoted father, son and brother.
He is survived by his children, Evan (13), Matthew (11) and Emma (8); his parents, Fred Bolland of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. and Marilyn Josephson of Red Wing; 3 sisters, Angela Roscheisen of Hortonville, Wis., Rachel Kleis of Shakopee and Laura Bolland of Rochester; many nieces and nephews and good friend Kelly Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Sylvia Bolland and his maternal grandparents, Richard and Grace Josephson.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. with a masonic service at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 3, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church. In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family.
