Travis LaVere Sympson, 33 of Bay City, died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his home. He was born July 6, 1982 to Lynn and Jerelyn Sympson in Red Wing, Minn. He grew up in Bay City and attended school in Pierce County, graduating from Ellsworth High School in 2000. He went on to receive an associate degree from Southeast Technical College in Red Wing. For a number of years, he was an associate at Wal-Mart where he worked in the electronics department.
Travis was born with Spina Bifida but he never let his wheelchair slow him down. He was outgoing, honest and generous; always ready to help anyone who needed it. He was an avid gamer and was working toward starting a YouTube channel with walkthroughs for other gamers. Travis enjoyed spending time with his friends and was close with his niece, Breanna.
He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Jeri of Bay City, Wis.; brother, Jeff Sympson of Lake City, Minn. and his niece Breanna, also of Lake City; one aunt, Jackie White; two uncles, David and Dwane Sympson and close friends, Jerry Furlong, Randy McGrath and Ben Whipple as well as other family and many friends.
He is preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
