Tracie JoLynn Slotto, 29, of Hager City, died Friday in Pierce County, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born August 23, 1978, in Hastings, to David and Mary Jo (Stechmann) Slotto and attended high school there. She and her boyfriend in lived in Amery, Wisconsin for a time and she returned to the area in 2004. She had recently been doing tiling work, "Tiling by Tracie" and other interior decorating work. She also enjoyed gardening, Elvis songs and her dogs, Jerry and Bella.
She is survived by her son, Austen Ray Magle of Stillwater; her parents, Mary Jo Slotto of Red Wing and David Slotto of Rosemount; two sisters, Shaina Slotto of Hastings and Madeline Slotto of Red Wing; two brothers, Danny and Ryan Slotto of Rosemount; her maternal grandmother, Lois (Gary) Theis of Red Wing; her boyfriend, Adam Marx of Prescott; her best friends, Mike Quiding and Jerad Rasmussen and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Wing, with Reverend Loren Lucht officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Marx, Mike Quiding, Jerad Rasmussen, Jim Roper, Robin Roper and Josh Big Eagle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stacie Stechmann and Angie Damman. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials preferred to the family.
