Tony Ned Tri, 56, of St. Peter, formerly of Bay City, died Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Red Wing Health Center. He was born April 9, 1959, in Soldotna, Alaska, to Wilbur and Dorothy Tri. Tony lived in Cohoe, Alaska until the age of 12, moving to Bay City, Wisconsin. He lived in Bay City, Red Wing and recently, St. Peter, Minnesota. Tony attended schools in the Ellsworth, Wisconsin school system. He married Penny Meier on Sept. 28, 1979, later divorcing. Tony is survived by two sons, Tony Earl Tri, and Jamie Ned Tri; one daughter, Angela Tri-Tukua and 8 grandchildren.
Tony worked multiple jobs and had been at ADM, Pine Creek Standard Service Station in Maiden Rock as a manager, a manager at Precision Auto and at Tri's Auto Repair. He had education at IT Tech-Ground Aviation Basic-Red Wing. Tony was very artistic-painting, drawing, playing guitar, harmonica and almost any instrument he touched.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren and siblings: Allen (Annette) and Guy (Marja) Tri both of Alaska, Eddy (Pat) Tri of Red Wing, Dale (Shelia) Tri of Hager City, Virginia (Bernie) Linder of Red Wing, Dawn (Frank) Hince of Bay City, Dianna (Dan) Morth of Ellsworth and Denise (Dan) of Wisconsin.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
