Timothy Gene Gleason, 61, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems – St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester. He was born June 8, 1961 to Charles and Elsie (Norwood) Gleason. He grew up in Allegan and graduated from High School there. He married Deborah Mudgett and the couple had two girls. The family moved to Red Wing in 1985 shortly after the birth of their oldest daughter. On December 12, 2013 Deborah passed away. Tim worked various jobs in the Red Wing area, including Will Do Trucking, Koplins Village Market and the Red Wing Solid Waste Campus. His friendly and outgoing nature made making friends easy and on April 25, 2014 he married a longtime friend, Kelly Staege.

Tim loved getting together with friends and family around the grill or bonfire. He was often outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He was generous with his time and was always willing to lend a hand.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly of Red Wing; daughters, Heather (Andy) Ihrig of Muskegon, MI and Tiffany Gleason of Hastings, MI; Kelly’s children, Alex Adler of Red Wing, Tifffany Wilschek of Rochester, MN and Kara (Justin) Stewart of Red Wing; 9 grandchildren; 4 siblings, Maggie Wright, Nancy Bailey, Linda (Louie) Winters and Dee Finch; step-brother, Butch (Beth) Thayer; as well as many nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Royal Thayer; and 2 brothers, John and Mike Gleason.

A celebration of life will be 5-9 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Colvill Park, pavilion 3, in Red Wing. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
