Timm Alan Halverson, 65, of Lakeville, formerly of Welch, died on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus. He was born in Red Wing, on March 12, 1954, to James and Shirley (Hase) Halverson. He graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1972. He began working at the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1975 and worked there for 42 years, before retiring in 2016. While at the Shoe Company, he met his wife, Beverly Dillinger. The two were married on October 8, 1977, and they made their home in Welch with their son, Dustin. He loved golfing and fishing, and often took trips up north to fish. He enjoyed going on vacations with his family, especially out West. He was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Lakeville; son, Dustin Halverson, of Rosemount; father, James Halverson; one brother, Rob (Jean) Halverson of Red Wing; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Randy and Lonn Halverson and his mother, Shirley.
