Thomas T. (Archer) Spaulding age 41 of Faribault died on Saturday, November 6, 2010 in a motor vehicle accident near Dennison. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island with Reverend Terje Hausken officiating. Burial will be in Pine Island Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and on Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Thomas Tyler Spaulding was born on September 8, 1969 in Rochester, MN to Arnold "Ike" and Sandra (nee Spaulding) Archer. He grew up in Byron and attended Byron schools. On October 8, 2004 he married Cathie J. Jackson at Holy Cross Church in Dundas, MN. Tom was currently working as a furniture prototype designer for Tuohey Furniture in Chatfield. He enjoyed seeking for treasures at garage sales, upholstery work, metal detecting, fishing, crafting and spending time with his family. Tom is survived by his wife, Cathie; mother, Sandra (Gordy) Boyle of Inver Grove Heights; father, Ike (Anne) Archer of Lake Havasu, AZ; sisters, Ramona (Scott) Eads of Scott Air Force Base, IL and Nicole (Tim) Hutto of Sandpoint, ID; brothers, Matthew Boyle of Faribault and Charles Boyle of Elmira, ID; grandmother, Joan King of Pine Island; step-children, Whitney (Brian) Bengen of Lonsdale and Andrew Tussing of Northfield; grandchildren, Muriel and Sophia Bengen; nephews, Shane Waters and Alex Eads; niece, Kassidy Eads and many other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by one sister and his grandparents. Honorary bearers are Bernie Caron, Andrew Tussing, Brian Bengen, Scott Eads, Matt Boyle and Tony Spaulding. Through life's ever changing quest for treasures, he has finally found his everlasting peace.
