Thomas John Ruble, 69, formerly of Prescott, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in New York. He was born on September 12, 1944 in Red Wing to John and Ardelle (Vann) Ruble. He graduated from Red Wing Central High School and from the University of Minnesota. On March 20, 1965 he married Beverly Segerstrom. They owned and operated the Virginian Supper Club of Prescott for many years. For the past five years he has resided in New York City with his daughter.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristin (Stan) Church of New York, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Madison Church of New York, N.Y; his mother, Ardelle Ruble of St. Paul; two sisters, Heidi Carlson of St. Paul and Judy Mett of West Concord, MN.; one brother, Dick (Beth) Ruble of Red Wing and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly in 2003; his father and one brother, Grant.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home. Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
