Theresa Helen Smith

Theresa Helen Smith, 66, of Lake City died April 28, 2014 at her home. She was born July 2, 1947 in LaCrosse, WI. to George J. and Iline (Stephan) Conway. She grew up in Onalaska, Wi. The family moved to Lake City in 1962. She graduated from Lincoln High School. On April 6, 1968 she married Daniel K Smith III at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake City, MN. Theresa worked in housekeeping at the Lake City Nursing Home from 1986 - 2008. She also worked at the Lake City Coat Factory and Zillgett's Turkey Farm. She was a member of St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church. Theresa enjoyed sewing and raising horses.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; one son, Matthew of St Paul, MN; one daughter, Dorothy Smith of Red Wing, MN; one grandson, Christopher Smith of Red Wing, MN; two sisters, Mary (Jerry) Keammer of Tampa, FL and Cecelia (Joe) Dunham of LaCrosse, WI; two brothers, Tom (Nancy) Conway of Red Wing, MN and Mike Conway of Northfield, MN
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, George Conway.
A Memorial Service with be held Friday May 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mahn Family Funeral Home in Lake City with Father Joseph Pete officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service.
