Terry L. Hanson

Terry Lee Hanson, 60, of Red Wing, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at his home. He was born September 8, 1951 in Red Wing, to Robert and Betty (Rosenberg) Hanson. He grew up in Ellsworth and had attended Lindgren School. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1971 and was honorably discharged due to a disabilitlty / injury. After being in the Navy, he married Patricia Johnson on December 23, 1984 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Red Wing. They made their home in Red Wing and he had worked different places, including the SB Foot Tanning Company. Terry had enjoyed fixing cars and he also liked playing a game of cribbage or solitaire, fishing, camping and shooting pool.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Red Wing; three children, Stephanie (Todd) Jerabek of Plainfield, Illinois, Charlie Hanson of Rochester and Fredrick Hanson of Red Wing; 2 grandchildren, John "Jack" and Hannah; his mother, Betty Hanson of Ellsworth and a brother, Robert (Lori) Hanson of Ellsworth. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
