Teresa Ann (Rude) Carlson, 61, was called home to the Lord, Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Born May 8th, 1959 to Joseph & Janice Rude, in Zumbrota, MN., her early years she enjoyed spending time on her grandparents farm, learning and growing.
Once graduating from Zumbrota High School in 1977, she moved to California It was here where she met and married her first husband, Douglas Carlson. After the birth of thier first daughter, Katrina, they moved back home to Minnesota and had two more children, Gretchen and Joseph. After her divorce, Teresa, made her home in Anoka, MN for many years. She later moved to Pine Island where she spent four wonderful years with her fiancé, Scott Ruegg.
She loved spending time in her garden. She enjoyed canning, crafts, cooking, bee keeping, antiquing, ironing, and sewing. She had a special place in her heart for her six young grandchildren, who brought her endless joy over the last eleven years.
Survived by her fiancé, Scott Ruegg, Children: Katrina Burns (TJ), Gretchen Woeste (Mike), and Joseph Carlson. Grandchildren: Marin, Louisa, Heidi and Carson, Camden, Madelyn. Scott's family: Lauren Ruegg, Brenna Ruegg, Miah McKee and Grandma Karen. Sister: Jodie Thompson. And many other loving family and a wealth of friends.
Preceded in death by parents: Joseph and Janice Rude, grandparents Emil and Margaret Rude.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
Please join us as we celebrate her life on Sunday, August 30th from 12:00-3:00 PM.
We will be having a large outdoor picnic at 53494 275th Ave. Pine Island, MN 55963.
