Suzanne G. Carley, 65, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Zumbrota died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Venice Hospital in Venice, Florida. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Mahn Family Funeral Home-Larson Chapel in Zumbrota with the Reverend Andy Krause officiating. Interment will follow at Zumbrota Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home-Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Suzanne Gladys Luhman was born on November 8, 1941 in Red Wing to Raymond and Mildred (Vieths) Luhman. She was raised in Goodhue and graduated Goodhue High School in 1959. She worked for the Butter and Cheese Company and Banitt's Store both of Zumbrota, the Zumbrota News Office and was later a receptionist for Grover Auto Company. Suzanne also owned and operated Harold's Radio & TV in Zumbrota. In 1974, Suzanne married Richard Carley in Brookings, South Dakota. In 1985, the couple relocated to North Port, Florida where Suzanne worked as a receptionist at the North Port Animal Hospital and later in the bakery department for North Port Publix. Suzanne was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary in Zumbrota. She enjoyed crafts and spending time at their cabin. Suzanne is survived by her husband, Richard of North Port, FL; son, Larris Conat and daughter, Paula Wagner both of Goodhue; mother, Mildred Luhman of Goodhue; four brothers, Randal Luhman of Zumbrota, Allan Luhman of Lake City, Dean Luhman and Jonathan Luhman both of Goodhue and a sister, Barbara Milow of Zumbrota. She was preceded in death by her father; and five brothers, Raymond, Larris, Arlan, Darwin and Curtis Luhman and a sister, Mary Lori Luhman. Arrangements are with Mahn Family Funeral Home-Larson Chapel, Zumbrota.
