Susan Gallas

Susan Jane Gallas, 80, of Stewartville, MN passed away on December 7, 2023.
Susan was born on June 23, 1943 in Bakersfield, CA to George and Elizabeth (Ebertowski) Lubinski.
Early in Susan's childhood her family moved to Winona, MN where she spent her childhood and graduating from Winona High School. She met her beloved husband, Wayne Gallas and were married in 1964. Through their marriage they stayed in the southern parts of Minnesota and raised four children.
Susan enjoyed bird watching, crocheting, playing cards, traveling to Arkansas and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Greg (Bobbie) Gallas of Rochester, Jeff (Cynthia) Gallas of Rochester, Patrick Gallas of Arkansas and Sara Gallas of Rochester; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Lubinski; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Gallas; parents, George and Elizabeth Lubinski; and a brother, Rick Lubinski.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at Stewartville Care Center.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel.
