A graveside service for Steven Becker will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday June 29th at the Oronoco Cemetery. Mr. Becker, 61, of Rochester, died Tuesday June 21, 2011 at his home in Rochester.
Steven William Becker was born October 28, 1949 in Rochester, the son of William and Fern Becker. A lifelong resident of Rochester, he was a graduate of John Marshall High School in 1968. He was an employee of the Kahler Hotel for more than 25 years, eventually retiring due to health concerns. Hobbies included playing on the hotel's softball team, bowling, and making occasional trips to the casino. He enjoyed watching sports on television, and was a fan of the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings.
He is survived by his sister, Patrisha Rud of Rochester; a brother, Robert (Rita) Becker, also of Rochester; and his nephews, Tad Rud and Derek Becker. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a niece, Robin Rud.
