Steve Michael Nelson

A memorial service for Steve Nelson will be held Friday May 29th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel. Mr. Nelson, 59, a resident of Central Towers in Rochester, died Monday May 25, 2015 at his home.

Steve Michael Nelson was born December 14, 1955 in Rochester to Willard and Lillian Nelson. Raised in Rochester, he moved briefly to Colorado and then returned to Rochester. He was employed by Jim Whiting's Nursery. He enjoyed fishing.

Steve is survived by his brother, Willy Nelson, Jr. of Eyota; two nephews, and two aunts. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Randy Nelson.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday.

If so desired, memorials may be directed to the Humane Society.
