Stephen Copeman age 56 died Wednesday, June 21, 2007 at his home.
Stephen was born August 7, 1950 to Walter & Connie (Miland) Copeman. Stephen grew up in the Spring Valley and Wykoff area. He attended School at Wykoff. He married Carol Erickson August 16, 1968 and they later divorced. He moved to Lake City in 1974. Stephen married Patricia Miland July 16, 1999 in Rochester, Minnesota. He drove truck for Tony Warrens Grain Service for many years. He also drove truck for Dave Ryan out of Goodhue. He was currently driving for Lake City Recycling. He enjoyed riding motor cycles and watching the SCI FI Channel. He also enjoyed watching people.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; two daughters, Laurie (Ralph) Daniel of Lake City; Lisa (John) Keating of Allen, MI; five grandchildren, Kacey & Jessica Daniel; Bonita Loump; Christopher & Craig Welke; mother, Connie Murphy of Rochester; step-mother Shirley Copeman; one sister, Cindy (Tom) Wright of Port Orange, FL; two half sisters, Donna Murphy of GA; Candice (Shawn) Richards of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers Tom (Cheryl) Copeman of Mobile, AL; Jeff Copeman of Rochester; one step-brother Randy Eck of FL; one step-sister, Debbie (Rich) Holliman. He was preceded in death by his father, and one step-brother JR Eck.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Paul Reppe officiating at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Burial will be in the Pleasant Prairie Dale Cemetery in rural Zumbro Falls. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
