Stephanie A. Taylor

Stephanie Ann Taylor, 35, of Prairie Island, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born on July 22, 1982, in Red Wing, to Gary and Sherre (Taylor) Mollick. She attended Red Wing public schools, and was a baptized member of the Church of Messiah on Prairie Island. She made her home at Prairie Island and raised two children, her son, John and her sister, Naomi. Stephanie loved her culture and was the Prairie Island Princess in the late 80's. She enjoyed playing bingo with her grandma, cook-outs with her family in the summer and attending the tribal powwow at Prairie Island and other powwows across the country.

Stephanie is survived by her son, John Roberts II and sister, Naomi Mollick both of Prairie Island. Grandmother, Carol Taylor; her aunts, Lucy (Sheila) Taylor, Kerre (Donnie) Taylor-Grimes, Elizabeth (Patrick) Bearheels; her uncles, Howard (Cheryl) Taylor Jr, Kelly (Holly) Taylor of Prairie Island, and one other sister, Kristi Schoboen of Morton, Minn,; her nephews, Gauge, Garett, and Gary Mollick; her beloved Yorkie, Squirt and many cousins.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Howard Taylor Sr.; her parents; uncles, Robert Taylor and Mike Kaiser and aunts, Melanie (Taylor) Kaiser and Terre Taylor.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018, at the Prairie Island Community Center with visitation beginning Wednesday until the time of the service.
