Stacey Ann Klahn

Stacey Ann Klahn, 55, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System, St. Marys Campus. She was born on September 5, 1969, in Red Wing to JoAnn Murphy. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1987, and then attended the Red Wing Vo-Tech receiving her RN degree. She started at St. John’s Hospital as an orderly, worked as an LPN and then as an RN in the Emergency Department for many years. More recently she had been at the Red Wing Shoe Company. She enjoyed animals, especially her cats and dogs and looked forward to the opportunity to relax in the warmth and sun. She was a very personable person and had an infectious laugh. Stacey was strong-minded at times, enjoyed being social and making others laugh was a proud mother to her daughter, Alivia. 

Stacey is survived by her daughter, Alivia Klahn of River Falls; her mother, JoAnn Benson of Red Wing; two siblings, Terry (Darren) DeGross of Ellsworth and Keith Murphy of Red Wing; one niece and nephew, Brittney (Ryan) Brenner and Zachary DeGross; one great niece and nephew, Brodie and Brielynn along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and daughter, Kailey.

A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday February 27, 2025, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
