Shirley was the type of person who always put other people's needs before her own and was one of the most loving, caring individuals to ever grace this earth. She was also a tough person who always forged ahead and persevered through her struggles with Cancer, approaching each challenge with the attitude that she wouldn't be beat. She enjoyed watching Minnesota Twins baseball, and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.

We would also like to thank Dr. Phillip Worrell for his many years as Mom's primary care Physician, the countless and tireless Doctors, nurses and staff at the Mayo Clinic who touched our lives over the years, and North Memorial Hospice Care (especially Lou and Angie) for their relentless pursuit of comfort for Mom during her final journey.
