Sheila R. Olson

Sheila Rae Olson, 68, of Red Wing, died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at her home. She was born May 28, 1947, in Red Wing, to Raymond and Leona (Robeck) Olson. She attended school at the Villa Maria in Frontenac and graduated in 1965. She worked as an underwriter for Citizen's Security in Red Wing and after its closing, moved to Edina where she continued to work in the insurance industry. In 2012 she returned to Red Wing.
She is survived by her daughter, Bridget Dietzler of Red Wing; 3 grandchildren, Cody (Lyndsey) Baader, Andrew Baader and Jenna Dietzler; a great-granddaughter, Jolie and a sister, Joyce (Philip) Griffin of Jamesville, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Church of St. Joseph with Monsignor Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Goodhue County Veterans Service Transportation fund, Red Wing's Beyond the Yellow Ribbon or Wounded Warrior Team MN. Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
