Shayne Donovan Anderson, 60, of Alma, Wisc., died Tuesday, October 4, 2022 after many years of health struggles, at his daughter’s home with his family by his side.

He was born August 19, 1962 in Red Wing, Minn. to Donovan and Juanita (Parmeter) Anderson. He grew up in Prescott and graduated from Prescott High School in 1981. After school he co-owned and operated Philanders Restaurant in Prescott and later, he owned PR’S place in River Falls. Shayne was a father to 4 children and was very close with his nieces and nephew.

He was an enthusiastic fan of the Packers. He also enjoyed the outdoors; boating, fishing, and snowmobiling. He was endlessly funny and had a fantastic sense of humor he maintained until the end.

He will be missed by many, including his children; Preston (Amalinda) Anderson of Bloomington, Minn., Jordon (Valerie) Anderson of Menomonie, Wisc., Shayna (Michael) Mostrom of Hastings, Minn., and Ross Anderson of River Falls, Wisc.; 5 grandchildren, Delaney, Camryn, Reese, Scarlett and Spencer; two sisters, Debbie (Jim) Taylor of Hager City, Wisc., and Connie (Harlin) Kinneman of Ellsworth, Wisc.; nieces, Keisha (Cody) Hauschildt and Carley Kinneman; and nephew, Chad (Katelyn) Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prescott with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Burial to follow at Bay City Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
