Sharyn M. Zanto age 65 of Lake City Passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Wabasha.
Sharyn was born January 17, 1948 in New Prague, MN to Fred & Patricia (Holicky) Vavra. Sharyn grew up in St. Paul, MN. She married Adolph Zanto July 10, 1965 in St. Paul, MN. They moved to Lake City in 1977. Sharyn worked at the Lake City Nursing Home. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Lake City. She enjoyed taking care of her animals and tending to her flowers in the summer and working on her family genealogy.
Sharyn is survived by her husband, Adolph of Lake City; three sons, Randall Zanto of Lake City, Gordon (Christina) Zanto of Wabasha, Keith (Dori) Zanto of St. Charles; three grandchildren, Madison, Zackary and Cole Zanto. She was preceded in death by her grandson Taylor Michael Zanto and her parents.
A Private Family Graveside service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Lake City with the Rev. Darren Paulson officiating.
