Sharon Lee Hopkins

Sharon Hopkins, 85, of Zumbrota MN, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Zumbrota Care Center. 

Sharon Lee Lundgren was born January 10, 1939, in Zumbrota, Minnesota to Leonard and Berdella (Jackson) Lundgren. Sharon grew up in Zumbrota and graduated from Zumbrota High School. She was united in marriage to James Hopkins in 1958 at the age of 19. Sharon and James lived in Zumbrota, MN until 1979, then moved to Tucson, AZ. In the early 2000’s, they moved back to the Zumbrota area. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; and her oldest son, Robert. She is survived by sons, Ronald (Sarah) Hopkins, of Albion, ME and Richard (Soo Hea) Hopkins of Spanaway, WA along with 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Aspelund Emmanuel Lutheran Church, in Kenyon, with Pastor Robert Edwards officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at the Aspelund Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
