Sean David McKay

Sean D. McKay, age 29, of Virginia and formerly Pine Island, died on February 15, 2009. He was born Sean David McKay on May 25, 1979 in Fridley, MN to Gary and Nancy McKay. He attended Pine Island public schools and graduated from Pine Island High School in 1998. While in school, Sean earned his Eagle Scout badge. He entered the United States Marine Corps and, during his four year tour of duty, he met Trinity Tidge. The couple were married in August of 2000. After his discharge, the couple lived in Pine Island before moving near his wife's family in Richmond, VA. They have two children, Avery and Kandice. Avery is following in his father's footsteps as a Cub Scout.

Sean is survived by his wife, Trinity, and their children, Avery and Kandice living in Virginia; his parents, Gary and Nancy McKay and his sister, Shannon McKay, all of Pine Island; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His grandparents and an uncle preceded him in death.
