Scott Joseph Poole

Scott Joseph Poole, 60, of Red Wing, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Seminary Home. He was born on October 14, 1953 in Red Wing to Allen and Mary (Raebel) Poole. He graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1972. He worked for the State of Minnesota as a grain inspector then was a personal care attendant. Scott enjoyed working on his farm planting melons and squash and caring for his chickens and horses. He also loved repairing things and supported a number of charities including the Humane Society and the Veterans' Administration, among others.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Rebekah (Dustyn) Janssen of Red Wing; three grandchildren, Jamie , Addisen, and Eli; four siblings, Michael (Joyce) Poole of Red Wing, Rory "Bo" Poole of Red Wing, Robin (David) Patrick of Liberty Hill, TX, and Shannon (Steve) Kearns of Bay City, WI; special friend, Robin Turitto of Red Wing; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Dolores Wessman; and uncle, Lyman "Joe" Poole.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson Mahn Chapel with Pastor Robert Molberg officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
