Sandra M. Lyke

Sandra Marie Lyke, 66, of Red Wing, died Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Red Wing Health Center. She was born January 7, 1943 in Goodhue to Charles and Mable (Ellefson) Lyke. She graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1963 and later completed a CNA program in 1979. She had worked at Kid Duds in Cannon Falls, Hi Park Care Center, Roadway Inn and Super 8 Motel. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and she enjoyed taking walks and visiting with her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara (James Lubrich) Rindahl of Ellsworth; 3 grandchildren, Erika, Heather and Tyler; a sister, Ruby (Jim) Blanchard of Kasson; a brother, Richard (Sharon) Clemens of Owatonna and 8 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Michael Anderson.

Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Christine Engstrom officiating. Burial will be at Land's Lutheran Cemetery a later date.
