Sandra Kay Humphrey

Sandra "Sam" Kay (Erickson) Humphrey, age 69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
She was born on June 18, 1951 to Henry and Agnes Erickson in Eau Clairie, Wisconsin. Sam was married to Denny Humphrey for 47 years. Sam is survived by 2 children, Michelle Humphrey and Erik (Sarah) Humphrey; several grandchildren; siblings Dennis (Jane) Erickson, Sharon (Don) Schwarz, Deb (Dan) Larson, Chuck (Renee) Erickson. Her grandchildren have fond memories of the costumes she would make for them (and her granddog Aidy) and the weeks they got to spend with her in the summers.
She worked in cytology at the Mayo Clinic for 43 years, retiring in 2014. She enjoyed golfing, going to plays, traveling (favorite destinations: Hayward, WI and New Orleans), making lefse and most of all spending time with her family.
