Sally Diane Streiff

Sally D. Streiff age 67 of Clayton, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 01, 2011 peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Pine Island with Pastor Carolyn Westlake officiating. Burial will be in Pine Island Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Sally Diane McIntosh was born on April 11, 1944 in Rochester, MN to Paul and Kathlyn (nee Sturgis) McIntosh. She spent her early years in the Chatfield/Eyota area. Her family moved to Pine Island as Sally was about to start the third grade. She graduated from Pine Island High School in 1962. On June 8, 1963 she married Richard Streiff in Pine Island. They lived in Pine Island, Rochester, Wabasha and Stewartville and Sally worked at the Mayo Clinic, Streiff & Meyers Home Builders of Stewartville, Streiff Inc. of Danbury, WI and for the St. Croix Medical Center for five years prior to her retirement. Sally and Richard retired in 2004 and they spent the winters in Texas and Arizona. They loved traveling on their motorcycle and dancing. Sally adored her grandchildren, spending as much time as possible with them.
Sally is survived by her husband Richard, daughters, Julie (Rory) Brown of Eau Claire, WI and Lisa Robers of Clayton, WI; son, Robert (Windy) Streiff of Spencer, WI; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; mother, Kathlyn Horton of Rice Lake, WI; brother, Gary (Vicki) McIntosh of Byron, MN and sister, Karen McIntosh of Rice Lake, WI.
Sally was preceded in death by her father, Paul.
