Ruth Trone

Ruth A. Trone, 89 of Folsum, California and formerly of Hastings, died Monday, February 12, 2007, at the Folsom Convalescent Hospital in Folsum, California. She was born on April 17, 1917 in Kalmar, Minnesota to Marvin and Ethel (Horton) Whipple. She received her education and on October 5, 1935, she married Albert Trone. They lived in Rochester and Red Wing area until 1948. From 1948-1956 they lived in South Dakota and then moved to Minnesota. Albert died January 2, 2002. She moved to Folsum on September 28, 2004 to live with her daughter. She enjoyed bowling and archery. Survivors include one daughter, Audrey (William) Bosch of Folsum, California, three granddaughters; three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; three sisters including her twin sister, Ruby Kuyath of Red Wing, who died January 19, 2007. Graveside service were held at Burnside Cemetery in Red Wing. Honorary pallbearers were Helen Johnson, Elaine and Crystal Bosch, Kyle and Lisa Cook and Ashley Bustillos. Funeral arrangements were by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
