Roy Henry Miller, 78, Red Wing, died Monday evening at Fairview Seminary Home. He was born March 21, 1929, in Red Wing, the son of Henry and Dorris (Carpenter) Miller. He attended school in Red Wing and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1948, serving for 5 years, including Adak, Alaska. He was employed for 38 years at Red Wing Shoe Company. He married Doris DeGrenier in 1950. She died in 1971. In 1972 he married Audrey Johnson. He retired in 1987. He was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church; he enjoyed woodworking and making clocks.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey of Red Wing; six children: Vicky (Barry) Winkler of Pittsburg, Cal., Robert (Lisa) Miller of Lake City, Judith Miller of Red Wing; Ardis (Lyle) Trulin of Plymouth, Kevin (Julie) Johnson of Red Wing, Dale (Laura) Johnson of Red Wing; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters: Janell (Tom) Enberg of Ellsworth, Viola Danielson of Red Wing and Evelyn (Calvin) Baker of Bay City. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris and an infant son, Dale Lynn.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church with Reverend Rick Grams officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Visitation will be for two hours prior to the service at the church. Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel is handling arrangements.
