Roxanne Jean Lemmerhirt

Roxanne Jean Lemmerhirt, age 46, of Red Wing died unexpectedly Friday, May 25, 2012 in Red Wing. She was born on August 9, 1965 in Red Wing, the daughter of Vernon and Dorothy (Betterley) Lemmerhirt. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School. She worked at the Red Wing Health Center for many years. She enjoyed horseback riding, horses, ducks and chickens. She also wrote children's stories about animals when she was young. Roxanne was a past member of the Hay Creek Saddle Club.

She is survived by three siblings, Rick Lemmerhirt, Randy (Sally) Lemmerhirt, and Robyn (Al) Lemmerhirt, all of Red Wing; three nephews, Shaun, Matt and Josh Lemmerhirt. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Dar Reeck officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
