Ross Ordean Loken, 39, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at his home in Fridley.
Ross was born November 22, 1969 in Rochester, MN. He grew up on the family farm in rural Zumbrota. He graduated from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School in 1988 and then attended Dakota COunty Technical College. He had worked as an auto mechanic in the Twin Cities area for the past 20 years.
He married Tonya Thompson in September 1994 in Wanamingo. They made their home in St. Paul. The couple had three children and were later divorced. Ross enjoyed spending time with his sons, helping his neice Kristin with demo cars, and going to concerts with his neices and nephew.
Ross will be dearly missed by his three sons, Benjiman, Samuel, and Elijah all of Duluth; his parents, Richard and Marlys Loken of Wanamingo; a brother, Jeffrey Loken of Lonsdale; two sisters, Holli (Brian) Gudknecht of Wanamingo and April (Kenneth) Forss of Zumbrota; and neices and nephews, Ashley, Kristin, and Nicole Forss, Kyle and Jami Simonson, Erin and Hanna Gudknecht.
Honorary pallbearers are DAn Blakstad, Todd Copley, Dan DeFrang, Chris Kalass, Craig Lexvold, Scott Sheridan, Tony Stenslund, and Kyle Simonson.
