Ronald "Ron" Kenneth Jorgenson, 76, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born April 7, 1948 in Albert Lea to Kenneth and Matilda (Weseman) Jorgenson. He graduated from Albert Lea High School and went on to earn an associate's degree from a community college. Ron proudly served in the United States Air Force for eight and a half years and in the Reserve for an additional six years. He married Lucinda "Cindi" Bosacker at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea on April 22, 1967 and the couple raised 2 daughters. Ron worked as a dispatch operator for various trucking companies in the area. He enjoyed watching the Twins and playing golf and cards. He also collected toy cars, coins, and knives. Ron was a member of United Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Cindi; two daughters, Amy Gants and Sara (Travis) Craig; grandchildren, Aaron (Camryn) DeWall, Amanda (T.J.) DeWall, Jonathon (Ariel) Meyer, Jack Meyer, Ashley (Dylan) Craig and Blake Craig; sisters, Candy Jorgenson and Lonna Smith; and siblings-in-law, Sharon (John) Buley, Pat Bosacker, and Lee (Terry) Bosacker.

He preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Dave Smith and Del Bosacker; and his parents.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Ron will be buried at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
