Ronald Hove

August 4, 1936 — March 24, 2016

Ronald "Ron" Eugene Hove, 79, of Red Wing, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24,
2016 at St. Crispin Living Community, Seminary Home. He was born August 4, 1936 in Austin,
Minnesota to Julius and Esther (Hammond) Hove. After attending schools in Austin, he enlisted and served in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1957. He then moved to San Diego, CA and
worked for Rohr Inc. He met his bride Sharon (Libecap) Dale and they had four
children. During that time he worked for National Airlines and then Pan Am in San Diego
as Customer Service Agent for 17 years. In 1981, he moved to Red Wing to be near family
before moving to Herbster, Wis. where he worked for the school district as Bus Diver and
became a handyman in his spare time. After retirement Ron moved to Northwood, Iowa before
his health brought him back to Red Wing four years ago. Ronald loved all social activities, especially dancing, playing cards, traveling, camping, fishing and visiting with family and friends. He also enjoyed golf, bowling and billiard leagues. All who
knew him will miss Ron dearly.

Ronald is survived by his children, Dominic (Debby) Hove of Panama City Beach, Florida,
Yvette (Pete) Quist of Red Wing, Eric (Shelley) Hove of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin and Charissa (Lee Oswald)Hove of Kennewick, Washington; 11 grandchildren, Victoria, DaMonique (Stephan) Rudolph, Shataye (Justin Larsen) Everett, Adamantia Everett, Laticia, Krista (Joel) Treml, Chanel, Elyse, Danelle, Audrey and Cameron; 7 great grandchildren, Max, Diesel, Estell, Connor, Brennen, Bella and Autumn; three brothers, Lyndon Hove of California, Jordan Hove of Dover, Minn., and Wayne Hove of Hager City. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home,
Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Debby Bradley officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to
