Ronald R. Bohmbach

Ronald Richard Bohmbach, 61, of Minneapolis, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at North Memorial Medical Center. He was born May 6, 1946 in Amery, Wisconsin to Richard and Geneva (Lovgren) Bohmbach. His family lived in Red Wing for a couple of years before moving to Fredericksburg, Iowa, where he attended school. A resident of Minneapolis for many years, he was involved in numerous card clubs, was an avid reader of Western books, and he enjoyed country music.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Faythe (Harvey) Drewelow of New Hampton, Iowa, Charmone (Don) Fisher of Zimmerman, Minn., and Nancy (Rick) Taylor of Osseo; 11 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Catherine.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Eugene Hasselquist officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Lennie and Bill Drewelow, Curt Fisher and Tim Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces, Lori Zabel, Nona Fisher-Kinvig, Dawn Drewelow, Dana Fisher, Tonya Fisher Andria Walker and Joelle Taylor. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
