Robert "Bob" Richmond

Robert "Bob" Irl Richmond, 82, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was born February 10, 1934, in Rochester, to Irl and Leona Richmond. Bob was happiest when he was sitting outside smoking his pipe and spending time with his cat. He loved music and had a vast collection of records that he enjoyed listening to. Bob was a big fan of sports and enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings. He also kept track of how the local high school sports teams were doing and enjoyed reporting back to the people who cared for him.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Chares and a sister, Joyce. He is survived by all of his friends at Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota.
A celebration of Bob's life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Eugene Hasselquist officiating. Burial was held at Plainview Cemetery in Plainview, Minnesota.
