Funeral services for Robert Renaux will be held Tuesday March 19th at 11:00 AM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel. The Reverend Nicklas Mezacapa will officiate. Interment will occur at a later date.
Robert "Bob" Darrell Renaux, beloved father, son, brother, and friend passed away suddenly in his home Wednesday night.
Bob was born on November 21, 1946 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester to Rosemary and Darrell Renaux. He graduated from John Marshall High School's Class of 1965 and served in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. Bob earned a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering and worked for many years as an Engineer with Bridon Cordage. Bob was passionate about music; he loved playing, listening, and talking about music. He was a wonderful father to his two daughters Hilary (29) and Jesse (26), a devoted son and brother, and a beloved friend to many. Bob's interests were vast and his opinions defined; just ask any Republican that had the misfortune of sparring with him over politics! Bob will be loved, remembered, and sorely missed by many.
He is survived by his daughters, Hilary Renaux of Minneapolis, and Jesse Renaux of Manassas, Virginia; mother, Rosemary Renaux of Rochester; a sister, Joanne (Don) Peterson of Rochester; and two brothers, Bill (Janet) Renaux of Port Richey, Florida, and Jon Renaux of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Renaux.
Friends may call Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Rochester Chapel, and the visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
