Robb Fagerlund

August 16, 1951 — February 28, 2010

Robb Fagerlund, 58, Red Wing, died in the loving arms of his family on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at his home. He was born August 16, 1951 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Robert and Florence (Graybille) Fagerlund. He graduated from Red River High School in Grand Forks, ND in 1969, he received a B. S. degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks in 1973 and he received a master's degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. He married Marge Janes on December 27, 1979 in Dickinson, ND. He taught in Dickinson, ND and in Oshkosh, WI. He was currently a Special Education teacher for the Red Wing School District where he has taught since 1979. He was a member of United Lutheran Church, served as honorary chairperson of the Mississippi Shuffle and had just completed the Citizens Academy Program.

Survivors include his wife, Marge; four children: Beth (Jeremy) Schultz of Owatonna, Bob Fagerlund (financee, Liz Bellomy) of McKinney, TX, Jeff Fagerlund of Mankato and Jill Fagerlund of Ames, IA; one sister, Barbara Lehman of Phoenix, AZ; one aunt, Doris Graybille of Nashville, TN; two nephews, Greg and Bill Lehman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be at 11 a. m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Randall Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p. m. on Friday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Robb Fagerlund Memorial Scholarship.
