Richard John Tebbe

Richard Tebbe, 64, of Red Wing, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 7, 1946 in Red Wing, the son of Bernard and Verona (Vieths) Tebbe. He grew up in Red Wing, attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Red Wing Central High School. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1965, served as a sergeant and was honorably discharged in 1969. Richard enjoyed coin collecting and following the stock market.

Richard is survived by his three children, Patricia (Paul) Neal of Virginia, Sarah (Blake) Beyer of Oklahoma, and Josh Tebbe of Oklahoma; two grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Peggy) Tebbe of Eden Prairie and Dan (Kathy) Tebbe of Red Wing. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Thomas M. Kommers presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion Leo C. Peterson Post #54.
